Goa government bans sleeveless dresses, jeans in offices

To maintain 'decorum', the art and culture department of Goa Government has banned it staffers from wearing revealing cloths.

"It is once again instructed that employees shall wear only formal dress and not wear jeans, corduroy, T-shirts, trousers with multiple pockets, sleeveless dresses, etc during office hours and official functions of the Directorate," art and culture director Prasad Lolayekar said.

The department deputy director is nominated to keep vigil against violation of the dress code.
