Pakistan's Maritime Security Agency (MSA) has arrested 48 Indian fishermen and captured eight boats for illegal entry in Pakistan waters, media reported on Saturday.

The fishermen were arrested from Kajjar Creek while fishing beyond the permissible limit. India and Pakistan routinely arrest fishermen on charges of illegally entering their territorial waters, ARY news reported.

Many fishing boats even do not have the technology to ascertain their precise location and many of the fishermen languish in jail for months even after completing their prison terms.
