New Delhi: The Lok Sabha on Monday was adjourned till noon as the opposition created a ruckus over the Lalit Modi issue and the Vyapam scam.

As soon as the house assembled for the day, members of opposition parties, specially the Congress, moved near the speaker's podium and started shouting slogans demanding a statement from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issues.

The placard holding members were shouting slogans like "we want justice" and "PM jawab do (PM reply)".

Speaker Sumitra Mahajan asked the members not to show placards and tried to conduct the question hour.

However, the opposition members continued with their slogan shouting and in the din, the speaker adjourned the house till noon.
