Eight killed in Afghanistan due to car bomb blast

Kabul: At least eight people were killed and more than 100 injured on Friday when a car bomb went off in the eastern part of Afghanistan's capital Kabul, police said.

The incident occurred near an army camp in Shah Shahid area. All the victims were civilians, Xinhua quoted a security source as saying.
