RSS endorses Modi government in its three-day meet

New Delhi: RSS Sarsanghchalak (chief) Mohan Bhagwat on Friday asked the Sangh Parivar to give more time to NDA to deliver on its promises.

The RSS chief reportedly endorsed the Modi government during the three-day meeting of all the Sangh affiliates by saying that the government is going on the right path and its achievements were laudable, according to a Times of India report.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the meeting for two hours and conveyed the government's commitment to improving the economy, helping poorest of the poor and effectively handling the national security issues.

PM Modi in his address to the Sangh Parivar, recounted his Sangh origins and how his grounding as a Swayamsevak helped him to attain success. He said that he looked forward to continuous guidance from RSS and added that initiatives like Jan Dhan Yojana and Mudra Bank will begin showing ground results in next couple of years.
