New Delhi: Social Activist and whistleblower for Lokpal bill, Anna Hazare slammed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for hugging RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.

He said that he is lucky that he left his company otherwise he would have been facing the same predicament. He added that shaking hands and hugging Lalu was unethical.

Once comrades in the anti-corruption movement, both Anna and Kejriwal parted ways after the latter floated the idea of Aam Admi Party. Hazare blamed Kejriwal for political opportunism in the past.

However, Kejriwal tried defending himself saying Lalu forcibly pulled him for the hug.

Lalu has kept a silence over the whole issue.

After the astounding victory in Bihar, Lalu is cashing in all the media attention he is getting. He has nothing to lose, this controversy is no harm to him.

Yesterday, Prashant Bhushan had called the suspension of AAP leaders from the party as the betrayal of Anna Hazare's dreams.

Anna's comment has raked up a political controversy. Everybody remembers 2011 movement where both of them worked unitedly.

This hug will haunt Kejriwal and AAP for quite some time.

The outstanding crime charges against Lalu are always a talking point in Indian politics, and the hug will add spice to the issue.
