‘Big B’ of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan thanked the Boss of Politics

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan offered thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for acknowledging his contribution to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Drive).

Prime Minister recently shared an audio on Twitter where he was reciting a poem composed by Mr. Bacchan.

"A special message from Amitabh Bachchan on Swachh Bharat," Modi tweeted.

Following which the star retweeted PM's post by captioning it "My most gracious and respectful thanks to the honorable Prime Minister Mananiya Shri Narendra Modi-ji, for acknowledging my small contribution." As reported by PTI News.

Mr.Bachchan has been an active part in government's clean campaign and also featured in a video against the practice of open defecation, launched as part of Centre's Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, where he was asking people to join the movement.

In the video, the actor said that villagers in India must know by now that by following the practice of open defecation campaign, they are putting their loved ones in dangers of health risks.

This reciprocative approach of Bollywood and center is aimed at building better promotion of government's ideas via active television figures.
