Varanasi, Jan 6, 2017: Queen Mother of Bhutan Asi Dorji Wangchuk visited Varanasi on Friday.

Accompanied by a 14-member delegation, comprising of some members of the royal family, she visited the Sarnath stupa and offered prayers there.

Officials accompanying her said she prayed for world peace. Her daughter and grandson also visited Sarnath. later in the day, they attended the Ganga Aarti and offered prayers at the holy river. (IANS)
