Panchkula, Feb 2, 2017: The Haryana Government is planning on taking an initiative to raise the retirement age of its employees from 58 to 60 years, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar informed the media today.
According to Khattar, a three-member committee would be formed under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Capt. Abhimanyu to study and analysis various aspects of raising the retirement age.
The other two members of the committee are supposed to be Health Minister Anil Vij and Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Kumar.

The Committee is scheduled to submit its report within the time span of one month, he said, adding that the Government might also think about re-employing those who have retired but are less than 60 years of age.
