According to the 63-year singer, "I turn down every invitation from Pakistan. I have never visited that country to give a concert and will not go in future also. If I feel like visiting Lahore, I will go to Pakistan, but will never go there to sing."

Jalota said, the Pakistani artists and performers who come to India for work should ask their rulers to put a stop to sending terrorists to India.

To a question, Jalota condemned attack on famous Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali by a local outfit during the shooting of his film at Jaipur.

To object to the content of a film content even before its release can not be justified, he said.
