7-year-old Indian Origin Boy Ishwar wins UK National Yoga Championship

London, April 25, 2017: An Indian-origin boy, Ishwar has won at the United Kingdom National Yoga Championship was held on 22 April 2017 in London. The event was conducted by the UK Yoga Sports Federation.

The seven-year-old has won a national level competition for yoga for the second consecutive year. Ishwar studies in St Michael's School in London and he has been quoted as the 'youngest wonder boy' by a global yoga magazine, mentioned TOI.

After winning the national-level competition, he is now preparing for the next event and will represent Britain in the World Yoga Championship, that is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu, Nepal in June 2017.

Even at this young age, Ishwar has already performed in various National and International championships including World Yoga Championship, World Yoga Festival and Om International Yoga Show. Not just that, he has also demonstrated yoga on many television channels, and plans to perform choreographed Vedic yoga to the music of Vedas, Upanishad and Bhagavad-Gita.
