New York:Do you love to post "smiley" emoticons in your chats and messages on WhatsApp or Facebook? Use them frequently as these can keep you happy between the sheets.

The US-based online dating site Match.com's annual survey has revealed that singles who have more sex tend to use emojis more.

Also, women who use kiss-related emojis have an easier time achieving orgasms with a familiar partner, Time magazine reported.

The "Singles in America" survey polled 5,675 people. The data held true for men and women in the 20s, 30s and 40s.

It found that 54 percent of single people who use emojis had sex in 2014 compared to 31 percent of singles who did not.

The "wink" face emoji is used most often by singles, followed by the "smile" and the "kiss."

"Emoji users do not just have more sex, they go on more dates and they are two times more likely to want to get married," Helen Fisher, biological anthropologist at Rutgers University, was quoted as saying in the report.

Sixty-two percent of emoji users want to get married compared to 30 percent of people who never used an emoji, the authors found. (IANS)
