Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor Starrer Brahmastra is the first 100 Crore movie under KJO's Production

One of the most awaited Bollywood pairs, Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor will be playing the lead role in the upcoming movie Brahamastra which will be released in 2019. The movie will be directed by the famous director Ayan Mukherjee and produced by Karan Johar.

Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in the movie with the pair of Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor. The movie is said to be a 100 crore venture and it will the first 100 crore movie for Dharma Productions till date.

Earlier tentatively titled Dragon, Brahmastra was renamed and announced by producer Karan Johar on Amitabh Bachchan's 75th birthday on October 11. The film will be a modern-day movie and is set in India as stated by director Ayan Mukherjee at the opening ceremony of the Jio MAMI 19th Mumbai Film Festival.
