South Korean tech giant Samsung has introduced its new flagship processor, Exynos 990 aimed at future devices that will require more power for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and 5G communications.

It is manufactured on the 7nm EUV process and will be 20 per cent faster and more power-efficient than its predecessors Exynos 9820 and Exynos 9825.

Exynos 990 processor include support for a 4K UHD display, 108MP camera and 8K video recording, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Additionally, the company has also announced the 5G Exynos Modem 5123 chip that is also based on the 7nm EUV process.
