Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief Asiya Andrabi was on Wednesday booked under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act for allegedly hoisting Pakistani flag on the neighbouring country's national day on Monday. A controversy erupted following media reports claiming that Andrabi had hoisted flag of Pakistan and sung its national anthem on 23rd March this year.

Asiya Andrabi was booked for allegedly hoisting the Pakistani flag. A case has been registered against Andrabi at Nowhatta Police station under Section 13 of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act," a police officer said.
