Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend 2016 Simhasth in Ujjain

Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday assured Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan that he would participate in the Simhasth Mahakumbh to be held in Ujjain next year, the state government announced here.

In a half-an-hour-long meeting at the prime minister's residence in New Delhi, the chief minister requested Modi to take part in the Simhasth. The prime minister agreed to attend the conclusion of the fair.

Chouhan invited Modi to inaugurate the Vishwa Hindi Sammelan (World Hindi Conference) as well, to be held in Bhopal in September later this year. (IANS)
