New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi while discussing the arrest of his former Law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar today.
Speaking after BJP created a commotion in the Delhi assembly over Tomar's arrest, Kejriwal compared the development with the demands now being raised for External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's resignation.

The Prime Minister, Kejriwal said, should take a cue from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

Saying Tomar had misled him over the genuineness of his allegedly fake law degree, Kejriwal said Modi too had been misled by his cabinet colleagues.

"His cabinet ministers have also misled him.He should remove Sushma Swaraj from the cabinet," the Chief Minister said.

When allegations were first hurled at Tomar, Kejriwal said he felt that the then Law Minister had done no wrong.

"But after he (Tomar) was arrested and sent to police custody, it seems to me that I was kept in the dark (by him)."

His remark came amid high drama when Bharatiya Janata Party legislator O.P. Sharma rushed towards Kejriwal and heckled him. He was marshalled out of the house.

Today was the first day of the budget session. (IANS)
