Nobody does it better, BJP’s U-Turn on Vyapam Scam

NewsGram Desk

New Delhi: Soon after the Supreme Court directed a CBI-probe into Vyapam scam, the BJP welcomed the decision and said it was always in favour of it.

Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan called it a relief. He said, "Now I am feeling relieved. The truth in this case should come out."

This reaction from the BJP was ironical. When the Congress and AAP were protesting for the Supreme Court to intervene, Shivraj Singh Chouhan called for a CBI-probe under the High Court.

Earlier, Rajnath Singh, the Home Minister of India had said in a statement that there was no need for a CBI probe in the case.

Though the minister later added that the government was ready for a CBI-probe, if directed by the Supreme Court. But he was firm on his statement that the CBI probe was not needed.
