New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday wished social reformer and spiritual leader Sri M on his "Walk of Hope" padayatra.

"The social reformer and spiritual leader, leading a Kanyakumari to Kashmir padayatra for peace and harmony, entered Gujarat this morning," the prime minister tweeted.

"Had a telephone conversation with Sri M and conveyed my best wishes for his 'Walk of Hope'," he added.

Walk of Hope is a 15 to 18-month-long padayatra organised by Manav Ekta Mission and led by Sri M. The journey spans around 7,500 km.

Manav Ekta Mission, founded by Sri M, works towards the oneness of all humanity.

The Walk of Hope was flagged off on January 12, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, from the Gandhi Memorial Mandapam in Tamil Nadu's Kanyakumari district.
