Though the government has persistently ignored the clamoring crowd protesting at Jantar Mantar, the grey haired ex-servicemen of our country haven't forsaken their hope for one rank one pension (OROP).

Toeing the steps of a rebel, they vehemently demanded their share. The streets of Jantar Mantar reverberated with relentless cries of Vande Mataram, with their feet moving forth in unison towards India Gate today against the crimson colored sky of dusk.

In an attempt at cracking down upon the inaction of the central government, our nation's ex-army men exemplified their solidarity through a candle march at Jantar Mantar, demanding the much awaited one rank one pension (OROP).
