"The cell will look into all your problems and demands. We will put people who understand your problems in the cell," Kejriwal was quoted as saying by an official. Students from the northeastern states have faced racial slurs and assaults in the national capital. Kejriwal sought their help in designing the education syllabus, and said: "Please be a partner of the Delhi government, keep coming to us with suggestions and let us work as partners. "The delegation submitted a memorandum which read: "Thank you for meeting us today to look into the issues that continue to affect around 6-7 lakh northeast India community who are studying, working and residing here."
