Amar Singh under scanner: Allahabad HC seeks report from ED

The Allahabad High Court has sought a detailed report on SP leader Amar Singh's donation to the Bill Clinton foundation from the Enforcement Directorate.

The order has come in response to a petition filed by advocate Ashok Singh. The court has also sought a response from the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI).

The ED has been given a stipulated time period of four weeks to submit the report.

The SP leader has been accused of varied money laundering cases and financial irregularities earlier as well. However, the case was later closed by SP.

According to reports, the next date of hearing will be on October 4th.
