Modi commemorates Golden Jubilee of 1965 India-Pakistan War

New Delhi: Visiting an exhibition to 'Shauryanjali' at Rajpath, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday commemorated the golden jubilee of the 1965 India-Pakistan War.

The five-day exhibition that began on Tuesday showcased major battle scenes in the 1965 war . Manoeuvres by fighter jets would be a part of the commemoration event.

Due to the ongoing commemorative celebrations, Delhi Traffic Police have advised commuters to avoid the stretch of Rajpath between Janpath and Man Singh Road from September 15 to 20.

"For five days, starting from September 15, the stretch of Rajpath between Janpath and Man Singh Road will remain closed for the 1965 India-Pakistan war golden jubilee celebrations," police said on Monday.
