Honda recalls 2.23 lakh cars over faulty airbag inflators

Chennai: Honda Cars India Ltd announced on Friday that it was recalling around 2.23 lakh cars rolled out between 2003 and 2012 to replace faulty airbag inflators in its various models.

Honda has recalled its models Civic, City, CR-V and Jazz.

The recall is part of the company's Japanese parent Honda's global initiative.

The replacement will be done free of cost at its dealer points, the company said.
