New Delhi: Celebrating Indo-British relationship which is as old as 400 years, the 'Arture Connect International Style Week' held here showcased a collaboration of art, fashion and music from both nations.

Throughout the month of October, this Indo-British fusion will promote eminent and upcoming designers and artists from the two nations.

The event, held at Taj Vivanta, showcased an exhibition of curated artwork by renowned artists like Naresh Kapuria, Arshi Ahmed and Jaya Baheti. It also had upcoming artists like Pritika Uppal and other craftsmen from various parts of India.

A fashion show by upcoming designers like Sanjana Sharma and Prachi Bharadwaj was one of the highlights of the event.

Organised by TwoCorners, which works on collaborations of artists and designers, Arture Connect is a cross-cultural platform which aims at an exchange of art, music and fashion across nations.

It also aims to provide a platform for fashion designers from Europe and India to showcase their wares while encouraging the vast array of artists and designers who work in fashion – from make-up artists through graphic designers to digital marketers.
