‘Diwali Dhamaka’ event in Sydney

SYDNEY: The annual Diwali Dhamaka event organized by Australian Indian Cultural Council Inc was held at the Cherrybrook Cultural and Community Center in Cherrybrook, Sydney on Saturday, October 24.

The event was attended by around 300 people, along with dignitaries, sponsors, performers and event supporters, as well as representatives from the Cherrybrook Technology High School (CTHS). A fund-raising raffle to support the CTHS was also organized during the event.

Most of the people who took part in the celebrations hailed the event as a success.

The gala evening comprised memorable cultural performances and a four-course dinner for which the AICCI team was credited.

AICCI is a 'not for profit' organization which aims to promote, conserve and advance Indian culture within the Australian community.
