New Delhi: Salman Khan's acquittal in 2002 hit-and-run case brought smiles on the faces of his delirious fans on Thursday who expressed their joy in this regard by dancing, bursting crackers and distributing sweets outside his home in Mumbai.

The verdict delivered by the Bombay High Court also shocked many who took to twitter, calling it a travesty of justice, for a homeless man, Nurullah Mahboob Shaikh, lost his life on the fateful night of September 28, 2002 after allegedly being run over by Khan's Land Cruiser.
