New Delhi, December 4, 2016: A national level shooter accused an Arjuna awardee shooter of spiking her drink at a party and raping her.

The accused has been booked on rape charge following the complaint, police said today.

A senior police officer said, "A case of rape has been registered at Chanakyapuri police station on the complaint of the national level woman shooter. We will take action as per law."

According to PTI report, "The victim in her complaint said that she knew the accused who is an Olympian for two years and they met while training for national championship at SAI shooting range."

She further mentioned that the accused had promised to marry her and this incident took place last month where he raped her after spiking her drink with sedative.

The medical examination of the victim has confirmed rape and the accused have been asked to join the probe, said the officer.
