Eat Play Love Festival: Artists like Baba Sehgal, Lucky Ali, Ayushman to perform at the Event pan-India

Mumbai, December 7, 2016: Artistes like Baba Sehgal, Lucky Ali, Vir Das's band Alien Chutney and singer-actor Ayushman Khurrana are set to enthral music lovers at the Eat Play Love festival.

The festival will take place here from December 17-18 and will then travel to Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune and Nagpur.

Other artists performing at the event include Ahmet Kilic, Vikram Kaushik, Voctronica, Derby Race, Zakhir Khan and The Other People, read a statement.

Spearheaded by Percept Live and The Eat India Company, visitors at the festival will get the opportunity to journey through the culinary road of India with participation from more than 100 exhibitors from across the country.

"With long-term access to the finest venues across the country, Percept will not only enable the perfect setting for the festival but will also add value by bringing in existing relations from state and city authorities and boards, celebrities, exhibitors among others," Manuj Agarwal, CEO, Percept Live said.

"The festival will not only be a tool to drive a greater participation from the local citizens and authorities but will in the coming years become a bucket list event growing in scale and encompassing more categories. We aim to contribute 45 percent to the tourism and state revenues over the next three years," Agarwal added.

As part of its promotional campaign, Eat Play Love will be undertaking slum beautification, street installations at traffic junctures, countdown timers at heritage city spots and travelling caravans to create awareness.

Apart from the food and music zone, the festival will also have dedicated zones to art, photography, retail, wellness, comedy and adventure sports.

The festival will also have story teller and puppeteer Jeff Gere from Hawaii.

A mini literature festival will also take place, which will be a children's literature festival featuring authors like Jeff Gere, Usha Venkatraman, Rashmi Ramesh and Katie Bagli.

Eat Play Love also has reserved seating for senior citizens and all-day care centre for children with an outdoor spa for attendees to rejuvenate. (IANS)
