After hairstylist Jawed Habib's spitting incident. Another incident of a man who is a chef at a roadside diner in Kakori, Lucknow's outskirts, was caught on camera spitting on the dough for 'rotis' (flat bread).

The cook was apprehended along with his five assistants, Danish, Hafiz, Mukhtar, Firoz, and Anwar, who can be seen standing and staring at him in a viral video clip.

Ashutosh Kumar, the assistant commissioner of police in Kakori, claimed that the dhaba owner Yakub, as well as the chef, had been detained.

According to Kumar, the defendants have been charged with negligent act likely to transmit a sickness or infection and malicious act done to spread the illness under the Epidemic Act.

Sushil Rajput had shared the footage on social media, according to police officials. The footage was taken from a distance, so it's unclear if the cook is spitting or not. To determine the charge, the police will seek technological aid.

In February of last year, a man named Naushad was apprehended in Meerut after a video of him spitting on bread dough went viral.
