The 8th LCD Berlin awards recognizes Serendipity arts festival as the best cultural festival

The Serendipity Arts Festival has been awarded the Best Cultural Festival award in the traveller's award segment, at the 8th Annual LCD Berlin Awards 2021-22.

In an initiative of Berlin's Senate Department for Culture and Europe, in cooperation with Visit Berlin and LCD local cultural leaders and international cultural institutions together strive to create an ecosystem of growth aiming at reinforcing the visibility of Berlin and its cultural oier as well as promoting lasting partnerships between the travel and cultural industries, which will strengthen Berlin's cultural landscape in the long term.

Speaking about the recognition, Sunil Kant Munjal, Founder Patron, Serendipity Arts, said: "What we do at the festival showcases the coming together of creative, artistic, and brilliant minds which uphold the diversity of our shared cultural heritage and expression. As the organisers of this multidisciplinary arts festival, we look to ensure that art practices from across the nation and the region of South Asia are well represented and celebrated with equal enthusiasm.

On behalf of LCD Berlin, Florian Wupperfeld, Founder of Leading Culture Destinations, said: "These Awards offer an opportunity to celebrate creativity, culture, digital experiences and innovation, highlighting the most notable emerging and established cultural destinations across the globe while connecting arts and tourism.

The selection process was a combination of peoples' votes and jury deliberations. The distinguished international jury comprised of Elizabeth Monoian, Co-Founder of Land Art Generator; Christina Reti, Principal Korn Ferry; Javier Jimenez, Director Lord Cultural Resources; Jean Blaise, Director Le Voyage a Nantes; Juergen Mayer H., Architect; Jenenne Whitield, President of The Heidelberg Project selected the LCD Berlin Award 2021/22 winners.
