Passengers can now lodge complaints or make suggestions to the Indian railways on the go, through an app. The app for android/windows platform can also track the status of the complaints and is available to download for free. Complaint Management System (COMS) portal, www.coms.indianrailways.gov.in., hosts both mobile app and web based complaints and suggestions. Upon registering a complaint, the complainant will receive a unique ID number, which can be used to trace progress. Those who don't use a smartphone, can register their complaints through SMS on +91-9717630982. The complaint portal is available in Hindi and other regional languages.
