Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Seychelles, Mauritius and Sri Lanka from March 10-14

To strengthen the bilateral ties, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Seychelles, Mauritius and Sri Lanka from March 10 to March 14.

"The visit of the prime minister to our friendly maritime neighbours is reflective of India's desire to further strengthen our ties in the Indian Ocean region," said an official statement.

On March 11, the Prime Minister will be in Seychelles. From there he will leave for Mauritius and spend two days there. In the last leg of his journey, from March 13-14, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Sri Lanka.

During his stay in Sri Lanka, Modi will hold meetings with President Maithripala Sirisena and other senior leaders. He will also hold discussions with Seychelles President James Alexis Michel to strengthen maritime ties.
