Remembering Indian freedom struggle's hero Bhagat Singh on his death anniversary, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal urged nation to celebrate "Shaheedi Divas" as "Desh Divas" (National Day).

In his Facebook video message he appealed to the countrymen to celebrate this March 23 as Desh Divas.

"Let us together think about the wellness of the nation and do at least one good deed for the nation today which can provide peace to the departed souls," added Kejriwal.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also pay homage to bravehearts Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev at Hussainiwala in Punjab today. He will also address a 'Shridhanjali Samaroh' at Hussainiwala in Ferozepur district during his visit.

About Bhagat Singh:
