It's not even a few days since the release of Zaki ur Rehman Lakhvi, the mastermind of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, the top intelligence sources have warned of a possible terror strike in the coming months. Sources have also revealed that an alert has been issued to all the states.

Mumbai Railway Police's letter issued earlier this month stated that Lashkar-e-Taiba is planning to attack railway stations and hotels in the city shortly, possibly similar to 26/11 terror strike. The letter has also cautioned that approx 10 terrorists may take the sea route and enter the city.

It was also stated by the intelligence sources that a "generic alert" was issued to all states few days back, however, there was no mention of the specific targets.

Ever since the BJP-led government took charge of the nation, there have been continuous warnings of a possible Lashkar strike.

This warning came at a point when a top LeT commander, Lakhvi, was released from Prison on Sunday in Pakistan.
