Islamabad: The US government has asked Pakistan and India to work out their outstanding issues, a media report said here on Tuesday.

The US wants to see conflict, tension in the sub-continent reduced at the earliest, reported Radio Pakistan citing US State Department spokesman John Kirby during a press briefing in Washington.
