The upcoming RSS and its affiliates meet likely to discuss OROP and Census report

New Delhi: RSS is likely to discuss current issues like OROP and Census 2011 report during the upcoming meeting of its 93 functionaries and its 15 affiliates, including with members from BJP parliamentary board.

According to Manmohan Vaidya, the RSS spokesperson, the upcoming meeting will have a larger scope than usual as it is likely to take up more number of relevant current issues, as per a report in Times of India. Vaidya added that the affiliate organizations will exchange notes regarding various issues during the meeting.

The meeting is scheduled to begin on September 2 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to take part. The meeting will serve as a platform for the government to receive feedback from the ground about its various initiatives especially regarding controversial issues like OROP and Land Bill.
