Rain likely in Delhi on Wednesday, says Meteorological Department

New Delhi: Rain is likely in the national capital on Wednesday, the India Meteorological Department said on Tuesday.

"Rain is forecast for the national capital tomorrow (Wednesday)… there will be a fall in temperature," a Met official said.

He said the maximum and minimum temperatures would hover around 30 and 18 degrees Celsius respectively on Wednesday.

Delhi witnessed a sunny Tuesday, with the maximum temperature recorded at 31.4 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year.

The minimum was 18.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. The maximum humidity during the day was 85 percent.
