Senior Indian Air Force officer cashiered for ‘harassing’ women

New Delhi: A senior Indian Air Force officer has been cashiered for allegedly harassing two women.

The officer, a senior Group Captain of the Indian Air Force's Eastern Command, has been removed from his charge following the complaint allegedly lodged by the women, including the wife of another Indian Air Force officer, to the Chief of Air Staff against him.

The Air Force, taking suo moto cognizance of the incident, has ordered a Court of Inquiry in this regard, according to reports.

The sacked fighter pilot was decorated recently.
