New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers on Wednesday protested outside Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's residence here and demanded his resignation over alleged corruption in the DDCA.

Top AAP leaders, including former minister and party MLA Somnath Bharti, were present as the protestors shouted slogans like "Arun Jaitley must resign".

Jaitley on Monday filed a defamation suit against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and five other AAP leaders and sought Rs 10 crore in damages for their statements regarding the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) affairs.

The Delhi government set up a commission of inquiry to probe alleged corruption in the cricket body.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Rajyawardhan Singh Rathore accused Kejriwal of using abusive language against Jaitley's entire family and running away from his promises of ushering in the politics of no corruption.
