Wildlife photo exhibition at UP Raj Bhawan

Lucknow: Ram Naik, Uttar Pradesh Governor inaugurated an exhibition on wildlife photography named "Wings of Freedom" at the Raj Bhawan on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the photographs gave peace and reflected on the need for conservation of our green environment.

Organised by the state forest department, the exhibition has a collection of rare photographs of birds found in Uttar Pradesh. In all, 250 photographs in various sections have been put up on display.

There are 80 photographs of birds species in the UP wetlands, 45 of birds in the forests, 45 in the plains and 80 photographs of birds that have been spotted from time to time in the sprawling Raj Bhavan.

The exhibition will remain open for people up till January 28, said a Raj Bhavan.(IANS)
