Rajasthan Government expects Rs 7,000-Crore Investment Deals at Agritech Meet in Jaipur

New Delhi. November 04, 2016: The Rajasthan government is expecting an investment of about Rs 7,000 crore at its Agritech meet in Jaipur next week, said state Agriculture Minister Prabhu Lal Saini on Friday.

"The government has already signed memorandums of understanding worth Rs 4,000 crore so far and we are expecting an investment of another Rs 3,000 crore during the meet, Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM)," Saini told the media at a press meet.

"We have taken up several initiatives and measures to double up farmers' income. The meet is aimed at empowerment of farmers in our state," the minister said.
