Ujjain Farmers Donate Land worth 25 Lakhs for Social Causes

  • The procession was attended by thousands of devotees from all over the district

Ujjain, June 3, 2017: Shankarlal Bagadiya, a farmer, along with his brother, both residents of Jaithal Tek, Agar road, have made a donation of two acres of land worth Rs 25 lakh with the intention of their land being used for social and religious events.

Also, a temple, which is dedicated to saint Ravidas, has also been built on the premises. On Wednesday, An idol consecration ceremony was conducted under the supervision of pt Dharamdas maharaj in the temple which will be known as 'Ravidas dham," mentioned Free Press Journal report.

To mark the event, a procession was held. It was attended by thousands of devotees from all over the district, along with 108 women who carried 'kalash' on their heads. At the end of the occasion a grand feast was arranged for the devotees. Rajaram Parmar, Madanlal Gujarati, Mohanlal Bagadiya were among many more dignotaries who were were present at the event.
