AirPods Studio May Have Head and Neck Detection Feature: Report

NewsGram Desk

Apple's upcoming pair of wireless over-ear headphones AirPods Studio may reportedly come with head and neck detection feature similar to the ear detection feature in the AirPods and AirPods Pro.

The AirPods true wireless earphones series have sensors which can detect when the earphones have been removed or put back, to automatically play or pause music or videos on compatible devices.

According to 9to5Mac, AirPods Studio will have similar sensors that will detect whether the headphones are on the head or the neck, presumably playing or pausing content when the headphones are worn on the head.

The headphones will have sensors to detect the left and right ears, which means that there may not be fixed left and right channels. It might be possible to wear the headphones any way. (IANS)
