Plane crash in Kazakhstan: The investigation into the causes of the passenger plane crash in Kazakhstan continues. Ukrainian aviation expert Konstantin Krivolap does not believe the version of the crash proposed by Russia - a collision with birds. He says it is impossible for such an aircraft. In his opinion, the cause of the tragedy was an attack by a Russian missile.

"When the version was proposed about birds that decided to make a nest in the engines and they were not allowed to do so and therefore the engines stalled - there was no sense in it at all. For one simple reason - in order to receive an ICAO certificate, which allows aircraft to fly around the world, land at all airfields, they must pass this certification. Certification involves testing both the aircraft and the engine for bird resistance. This is a very serious test, - Konstantin Krivolap said in an interview with the Voice of America. - The Embraer has a General Electric engine - for a bird to hit it and disable it is impossible. And where did the bird hit? How did this plane end up in Aktau, if it took off from Baku and flew to Grozny, how did it cross the Caspian Sea, 450 kilometers along the Caspian, why did it end up there?

What is also important here is how the commission will be created now. The fundamental position here is what. There is the regulatory framework itself. There is a standard, there are its articles that absolutely clearly and unambiguously describe how, who does what in the creation of this commission. And it says that the country on the territory of which [the disaster] occurred, informs the country operator - that is, who flies - where the registration of this aircraft took place and the country that was the developer, that is, the designer of this aircraft, and the country that manufactured it. That is, we have Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Brazil. There is no place for Russia here, and Russia must definitely get involved, because if Russia does not get involved, how will it be able to falsify these results later, or try to present them in a different form?
