Amazon Prime Video's latest offering The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power has finally come to an end with its season finale.

Since its first episode, the "most-expensive series" has garnered polarizing reviews from audiences and critics on social media.

The show has been compared to the original 'LOTR' trilogy as well a 'The Hobbit trilogy'. Besides this the show is also facing tough competition from HBO's 'Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon' which is heading towards its first season finale. Both the shows are based on high fantasy novels written by JRR Tolkien (Lord of the Rings) and George RR Martin (A Song of Ice and Fire)
