The wedding bells have rung for the famous Mexican conjoined twin, Carmen Andrade, who shared all the interesting details in a YouTube video titled “Overdue Update!” Carmen Andrade, one of the conjoined twins with her sister Lupita Andrade, has announced her marriage to her long-time boyfriend, Daniel McCormack. The duo tied the knot in a private ceremony in October 2024 in Connecticut after dating each other for nearly four years.

The trio made jokes in their YouTube video about who is married and who is not. Carmen clarified by raising her hand and showing her wedding ring to the camera that she is the one who got married. Carmen said, “I did get married," and Lupita added, “I did not.” The camera then began to pan towards the left side, showing Daniel, who addressed all the viewers by saying, “Hi! I got an upgrade, I'm the husband now.”

The couple, who met on the dating app Hinge in 2020, had chemistry right from the start.

Carmen, who is the right-sided twin, has previously shared her relationship with her then-boyfriend Daniel and his bond with Lupita (the left-sided twin) in an interview with Today. Carmen expressed that sometimes she felt bad for Lupita, as she (Carmen) spends a lot of her time with Daniel. “So we try to come up with compromises. Like, (Lupita) will choose where we go out to dinner, or what activity we’re going to do,” said Carmen.

The couple, who met on the dating app Hinge in 2020, had chemistry right from the start. “I knew right off the bat that Daniel was different from the others, because he didn’t lead with a question about my condition. I have social anxiety, and I’ve ended up cancelling dates at the last minute, but I felt calm on the way there,” said Carmen.

The 25-year-old Andrade sisters are connected at the torso and share a pelvis and reproductive system. They have their own separate heart, lungs, and stomach, but share one leg each. Carmen shared in the interview that she has control over the right leg—that is why Lupita controls the music and navigation and she does the driving. [Rh/VS]
