Registration for Amarnath Yatra begins, pilgrimage starts from 2nd July

The registration process for Amarnath Yatra, 2015, to be held from 2nd July to 29th August 2015 via two routes, Baltal and Pahalgram has started.

Registration, which is a compulsory requirement for undertaking the pilgrimage can be done through the selected branches of J&K bank, Yes Bank and Punjab National Bank across the country for a modest fee of Rs. 50.

Interested people have to submit a Compulsory Health Certificate issued by an Authorized Doctor/ Reputed Private Medical Institution issued after 10th February, 2015 and can only travel on the day and route maintained on the Yarta Permit.

Information about selected bank branches and state-wise list of Doctors / reputed private Medical Institutions authorized to provide health certificates is available on the shrine board`s site, www.shriamarnathjishrine.com.
