Uttar Pradesh roadways, a public sector unit under Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, will provide 2×2 AC buses called Janrath Buses on rent for marriage and tourist purposes.

Ashok Kumar Shrotriya, additional regional manager of UPSRTC said that the service will provide affordable, low cost air-conditioned buses.

'The booking of the three 40 seater AC 'Janrath Buses' will happen on first-come-first-serve basis and consumers will be charged Rs 20,000/per bus.' he told a news agency.

The buses will have facilities like LED screens, 4 channel music channel, WiFi ans GPS along with 40, 2×2 push-back seats, PTI quoted.

Rs.1.25/Km will be charged for every passenger for 400 Kms per day.
