Angelina Jolie’s words: The good and the bad

The actress and activist, Angelina Jolie's recent speech about curbing violence against women has created quite a stir.

Her powerful speech consisted of discussing the possible solutions to the ongoing global epidemic of violence against women.

"We need policies for long-term security that are designed by women, focused on women, executed by women," Jolie explained, "Not at the expense of men, or instead of men, but alongside and with men."

She spoke about the critical need to engage men in the global women's rights movement, which begins at

the individual level.

Though, in her speech she also explicitly hinted towards her dislike for US President Barack Obama.

As reported by media outlets sources close to Angelina Jolie reveal that she thinks Obama is a socialist.

"She hates him. She's into education and rehabilitation and thinks Obama is all about welfare and hand-outs. She thinks Obama is really a socialist in disguise."

Jolie's husband, Brad Pitt, is a major donor and promoter of the Democratic Party and supporter of Barack Obama. Therefore, Jolie's declaration has come out as a shock for everyone.
